In the next 48 hours our country is about to elect

In the next 48 hours our country is about to elect the next 47th president of the United States and in the last 48 hours I’ve been doing everything that I can to support my community in making their voice count. On Saturday, I was with my sisters, canvassing to ensure Detroiters know that the all of their options available to cast their vote this election. On Sunday I worshipped with my sisters including Kamala Harris at Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ. After that, we enjoyed some good soul food at Fixin’s and then off to plan our presidential election watch night party at One Mike showroom in Downtown Detroit. We’re 48 hours from making history, time to vote, time to make change happen and I’ll see you at the finish line on Nov 5th! LETS GO!

Happy National Authors Day! 📚 Did you know on November 1st millions of people celebrate authors and the books they write on National Author’s Day?

Reading has always been a huge joy in my life and my favorite books from childhood are “Where The Sidewalk Ends”🗿and “Charlotte’s Web”. 🕸️ The Scholastic Book Fair is where I joined my first book club as a kid and where my entrepreneurial efforts began. (I didn’t always have money for books so I would design and create custom bookmarkers using index cards, stickers and friendship bracelet string and sell them for .25 cents. Between selling bookmarkers and drawings, I made enough to buy my favorite books year after year.💵)

Fast forward 30+ years later, it’s hard to believe that it’s been years since I became an author myself and wrote @creativedisciplineproject out of a need to help entrepreneurs and creatives (like myself) get beyond the roadblocks that stop them from accomplishing goals. This book aims to be a resource worth revisiting anytime you need a break from over thinking and ready to jump in and start doing. 📚🫶🏽
