Women in Tech: Tania Yuki
CEO, Founder of Shareablee and Founder of Wimlink
Named by Forbes as one of 12 women driving digital in New York
Received the Great Mind Award from the Advertising Research Foundation
A former media attorney and executive at comScore, Ms. Yuki started Wimlink, a meetup organization of 1,000 tech women in New York as “a place for building conversation and community for women entrepreneurs, innovators, and disrupters in the media and technology space” (wimlink.blogspot.com). The meetup host monthly lectures and guest speakers.
To help companies research, measure, and boost their return on investment (ROI) using social media, Ms. Yuki founded Shareablee. It provides social media solutions to businesses. The company uses analytic tools to target brand engagement, demographic insight, and develop a strategy for better ROI.
CES 2013 Panel Discussion and Moderator
On Monday, Ms. Yuki served as moderator for a panel discussion of women tech leaders titled “Women: The Social Advantage – Leveraging the Social Graph for Building Brands Across Platforms.”
The discussion focused on the increase usage of women and technology, recent research that women are the primary users of social media, and the primary buyers of smart phones, and tablets. How will brands move to target their services for mobile users?
The speakers included Alexandra Johnson (Draper Fisher Jurvetson), Carly Watkins (Skype Global Advertising), Lisa Sullivan-Cross (VP of Marking at GM), Maha Ibrahim (Caan Partners), Stacey Bishop (Scale Venture Partners), Stephanie Gaines (Matcha), and Tamy Harms (Possible Cincinnati).
