Word on the street is that Nokia is looking to take their efforts to the next level. On their upcoming press event taking place in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd, they are looking to finally unveil something new to enter the tablet market. But it won’t be running Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS.
Nokia Lumia 2520 Leaks
The new tablet dubbed ‘Sirius’ is said to be sporting a 10.1 inch IPS 1080p HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor, and running Windows RT. As you can see from the image, it will be sporting the now iconic Cyan Blue color seen in the Lumia 900 series.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 is slated to launch directly on Verizon with a $499 price tag. It’s expected to go on sale on November 17th or 18th. Verizon is getting black and red, whether that’s both colors on one device or two different colors for two different devices isn’t certain at the moment. The device is supposed to go to other carriers shortly afterward.
Nokia has been in the Windows world for a while. They might make a great Windows tablet.
