In just mere hours, Samsung is gearing up to unveil its next-generation smartphone, the Galaxy S 4, in New York City. A launch that further positions the company as Apple’s biggest competitor. The Korean electronics giant has created a lot of buzz surrounding the announcement, which will be live streamed online here and in the “crossroads of the world” Times Square.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Global Launches LIVE In NYC
This will be Samsung’s first time launching a device in the U.S., and not overseas. Hyped by its “Unpacked” marketing campaign, the event will take place in mere hours at Radio City Music Hall, just blocks away from Apple’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue.
Remember we showed you sneak preview images of the S4 last week? If leaked images are any indication, don’t expect a lot of changes with the hardware. The Galaxy S 4 looks strikingly similar to the S III. Photos that surfaced on a Chinese forum earlier this week revealed a quad-core 1.8GHz processor, 5-inch (1080p) display, 13-megapixel camera and 2GB of RAM. We’ve also heard rumblings that the smartphone will include anExynos 5 8-core processor, and will run on Android 4.2.2.
Are you looking forward to the new S4 release…sources say that you could have one in your hands as early as June…(you didn’t hear that from us though.)
