Is this the new face of modeling?
On Nov. 15, Chris Brown signed a deal with Wilhelmina Models’ Artist Management division to facilitate “fashion and beauty endorsement, editorial and licensing opportunities.”
Brown issued a statement, saying: “Art and style has always played a significant role in my life – it’s evolved with me throughout my career. I’m so happy to join the Wilhelmina team, which has countless successes in the industry, to explore this new avenue.”
Chris Brown recently launched his own clothing line entitled, “Black Pyramid,” under the Pink + Dolphins brand, and intends to push the brand although it is still relatively unknown. “The Black Pyramid label is basically an unknown art,” Brown says. “We really haven’t mastered the art of making a pyramid ourselves, like the ancient ones, so it’s kinda like an unknown art. So I think my painting, my designs, whatever I do fashion wise is unknown to a lot of people. “
On Nov. 17, Brown kicks off his Carpe Diem world tour, in Norway.
