I’m sure we’ve all heard of all the shows and concerts going on at SXSW Interactive Festival 2013. Sadly, it is coming to an end. But not without some huge announcements and of course tons of entertainment. And there’s a lot of entertainment going on! There’s even a Def Jam showcase tomorrow night. For those who are missing out (like me), Oovoo is making it possible to view the concerts from SXSW.
What is Oovoo?
Oovoo is the largest independent social video chat provider with 70 million registered subscribers. You can video chat with up to 12 people. You can send video messages and upload to YouTube directly. It’s available for desktop and mobile. You can even use it on Facebook.
How Can You Watch SXSW Concerts on Oovoo?
Oovoo is using their new feature called Watch Together. This will allow millions of fans to watch the SXSW concert together through YouTube videos simultaneously with friends in a video chat. You may have missed a few of the concerts but there are still many to go.
You can still enjoy live performances from some artists. (Scheduled Warner Music Group performances include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Paramore, The Flaming Lips, and Tegan and Sara. ooVoo will give its users a chance to video chat with select WMG and Def Jam Recordings artists including The Joy Formidable and Fitz & the Tantrums.)

Tomorrow Oovoo is presenting the Def Jam Showcase from the QUI Restaurant. This event is supposed to have many artists such as Trinidad James, and Fabolous, and will be hosted by JasFly of VH1’s new show “The Gossip Game” and New York’s Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez.
