Hola from Puerto Vallarta! Currently, I´m basking in an amazing Mexican All-inclusive resort, sipping on pina coladas and ever-so-grateful that a few weeks ago (in spite of my pre-determined judgement) I checked out the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection before it sold out!
Before I spoil the surprise that you already knew – Yes! This jumpsuit is from the Lilly For Target collection, but what you didn’t know is that if it wasn’t for the launch day morning buzz – I wouldn’t have taken a second look at the collection in the first place.
When I first received the Lilly for Target lookbook from Target’s PR agency, I instantly thought of baby puke. (That’s harsh, I know. But follow along.) The bright pinks, blues and greens jumbled together made me think of bridal and baby showers and babies and puke. Still a bit much? Well, at least I’m being honest. But, within the collection of pastels – I found the perfect island-inspired jumpsuit! (Who knew!)
Measuring at 42″ at the bust and 36″ in the waist, the kelly green palm-like “boom-boom” print design pops out unlike anything else in the collection. It’s 100% polyester without the cheesy/cheapy polyester feel and even on a tall girl like me, it manages to sweep the floor (pants length is VERY important in my world.)
After wearing this piece on my first Puerto Vallarta day out – it doesn’t surprise me how quickly this collection actually sold out online and in Target stores! The Lilly for Target collection was inspired by Palm Beach living, so of course it would become uniform for soon-to-be vacationing fashionistas everywhere!

Boom Boom Jumpsuit
Although the jumpsuit is sold out online and in Target stores, doesn’t mean this awesome vacation find has to elude you. You can still check out additional options for kids, plus sizes and more on Ebay.com – yeah, it’ll cost you more than the original price – but when I say I found the perfect jumpsuit for any island-like vacation from Target – I meant it!
