The ‘Red Sport 400’ sport has wider wheels at the rear, giving it a more aggressive stance and improving handling and grip on the road.
Designed with “Powerful Elegance” in mind the deep set double arch-grille and Infiniti.led headlights make the Q60 stacked with style. The exclusive new hue of “Dynamic Sunstone Red” attracted eyes from the guys of all ages. My nephews were 100% convinced that it was their favorite cherry red coupe from the movie ‘SING’ while older men on the road looked puzzled trying to identify the manufacturer of such a futuristic ride.
A Tailored Interior
The Q60 Red Sport 400 takes a fitted approach to the cabin design, which definitely makes for an intimate driving experience. From the dashboard’s focus on the driver, with the center console housing twin touchscreens (8-inch upper and 7-inch lower) to the interior seating and trim perforated white leather and carbon fiber accents – the cabin is truly built for the driver. It definitely has the essence of a sports coupe, according to my sister and nieces (who range in height from 5’7” to 5’9”) , sitting in the rear wasn’t the most comfortable experience – but that’s why a sports coupe is meant to drive.
Power Packed Tech
Infiniti knows a thing or two about creating tech savvy vehicles that aren’t overwhelmingly difficult to operate. The Q60 Red Sport 400 is no exception. It offers Active Noise Cancellation to isolate the audible chaos on the road and create a serene experience the moment close the door. The all-new 13-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system provides a custom in-cabin listening experience, no matter if you’re listening to Beethoven or 2 Pac. Infiniti’s InTouch infotainment system offers over 200 custom settings from climate control, steering modes and more all within arm’s reach.
Safety features include Intelligent Cruise Control, Active Lane Control and Second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering which provides a heightened level of steering feel helping to deliver a truly engaging sports coupe experience.
Customized Drive
By far one of my favorite featured on the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 is the Drive Mode Selector allowing the suspension damping and steering response to be pre-selected according to driver preferences. When I wanted to preserve fuel via a sustainable drive, there’s ECO mode and when I wanted to push the Q60 to its limit the new ‘Sport+’ mode was just the custom mode to get me there.
The 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo is an all-new engine from the new and exclusive ‘VR’ powertrain family, engineered to empower the drive 400hp. The beauty of the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 is that it’s a powerful performance ride that doesn’t over-power the driver. I’m guessing with all that power, the rear intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system with enhanced stability has something to do with that.
The Infiniti Q60 Red Sport is by far one of the best sports coupes I’ve driven in YEARS!
