Vine is not going to lose to Instagram Video without a fight. They recently announced improvements and updates to the app. These improvements include two additional features called I and Time Travel.
Vine Sessions:
Sessions: Save any post and come back to it later –– work on up to ten posts at once. Simply tap the new icon in the bottom right corner of your camera to save a new session or open an existing one.
Vine Time Travel:
Time Travel: Now you can remove, reorganize or replace any shot within a post before you share it. Tap the green bar from the camera while you’re shooting, or tap ‘Edit’ when you’re previewing a post.
Vine was built for one purpose: to make it easy for people to capture life in motion and share it with the world. That is the reason we built the Vine camera, and it’s why we continue to improve upon and build new tools for your creations, nurturing the balance between power and simplicity that you’ve come to expect from us.
We think these features offer new ways for people to express themselves and their creativity. We hope you like them.
-From the Vine Blog
If you already deleted Vine from your phone and want to give it another chance, you can download it for
iOS HERE (App Store),
and for Android HERE (Google Play).
I think that’s a good move for Vine, since Instagram allows you to upload videos from your library.
Who still uses Vine? Do you prefer the 6-second footage over 15-second video Instagram allows you to upload?
