I love traveling! I mean, I REALLY LOVE TRAVELING! Typically my travels aren’t always vacations or opportunities to relax and renew, but that doesn’t keep me from sneaking in a little “me” time when I can. Technology doesn’t always have to hinder you from enjoying the best out of a wanderlust-filled life.
Good tech tools will actually enhance how you experience travel and thankfully can often save you time and money while entertaining on the go. Don’t believe me? During a recent vacation, I noticed that I pack a ton of useful gadgets during my travels and each one serves a unique purpose that I wouldn’t dare travel without. Check out four gadgets that I absolutely can’t travel without below.
4. Dell XPS 13
The Dell XPS 13 isn’t just a great notebook to use while working on the go, but it’s also a great laptop for binge watching your favorite shows online (ahem House of Cards anyone?) The XPS 13 has a unique virtually borderless infinity display, with only a 5.2mm bezel on the top and both sides. That’s the thinnest frame on a notebook today. What does all of that mean to you? There’s less bezel, so there’s more view to enjoy. You can literally take your view to the edge, no matter what you are doing.
3. Selfie Stick
I get tons of compliments and inquiries about my selfie stick this year. With a bluetooth enabled remote and extendable arm, there’s much more to using a selfie stick beyond capturing the perfect self portrait. I’ve used my selfie stick to gain higher perspective shots that I’d never get unless I grew 10 feet tall. I also use the selfie stick to snap the perfect shot – even when there are other photographers in the way.
2. Portable Charger
Staying charged on the go can be hard as it is. There are hundreds of portable chargers on the market today, but when you need power that keeps going and going – you need a charger that can keep up with you. My favorite chargers are universally compatible with any device using a USB cord depending on your budget and power preference you could check out the power-packed Samsung charger or my latest Apple-inspired obsession – the Apelpi Luxe.
1. Bluetooth speaker
No matter what brand you use, all that matters is that you have amplified tunes when you need it most! I love using my bluetooth speaker with my favorite playlists to get me ready for the day or put me in the right mood before a night out on the town. There are tons of speakers to choose from, however my favorite is the Pill by Beats. It’s slim and stylish design makes it easy to stow away in your carry on, yet it packs a powerful booming sound when you need it most.
