If you’re excited about the All-New 2015 Chrysler 200 rolling into production as I am, then you’ll love discovering the secrets behind the all new design as I was a few weeks ago in Louisville, KY. During my time with the 2105 Chrysler 200 I got the chance to test drive the sleek ride throughout the streets of Louisville as well as get the inside track on the interior design and infotainment system.
The All-New 2015 Chrysler 200 redefines the sedan interior. A traditional center console is replaced with one that is ergonomic and space efficient. It combines a Rotary E-Shift, climate controls, the Electric Park Brake and connectivity functions with uncommon storage features. The pass-through storage area includes a rubber mat surface and is large enough to carry an electronic tablet. A connection to a USB or auxiliary media hub is located under the cup holder. Controls for the available dual-zone automatic temperature control are in easy reach and simple to use.
The sport-sculpted seats are well bolstered for a high level of comfort and support. The All-New 2015 Chrysler 200 has unsurpassed front and rear shoulder room+ so you can stretch out. An eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar adjustment is available. Heated front seats are available along with ventilated front seats. A memory feature is available for the power driver’s seat position, exterior power mirrors and radio station presets. The rear seat features 60/40 split seatbacks for trunk storage flexibility. In fact, the trunk holds 16 cubic feet of space.
While in Louisville, I also got the chance to get in the drivers seat with Christian Farkas from the Chrysler Design Engineering team to talk about the Chrysler 200 interior design and talks me through the interior features of the Chrysler 200 that adds to the benefits of an overall ultimate driving experience.
