Johannesburg
Our journey begins in Johannesburg, where we’ll stay at the luxurious Sanctuary Mandela and Da Vinci Hotel. I’m especially excited about our culinary experience at the Four Seasons’ Flames Restaurant and the city tour, which includes a visit to the Apartheid Museum. These experiences are expected to deepen our understanding of South Africa’s rich history and culture, making Johannesburg a must-see on any South Africa travel itinerary.
Kruger National Park
Next, we head to Kruger National Park for an exciting wildlife safari at the Thorny Bush Game Lodge. An African safari experience is one of those one-in-a-lifetime experiences on everyone’s bucket list! Seeing the Big 5 up close during morning and afternoon game drives will be a dream come true!
Makhanda
Our adventure continues in Makhanda for the National Arts Festival. Celebrating it’s 50th anniversary, the National Arts Festival experience includes a curated city tour and plenty of time to explore the festival’s diverse theatrical, musical and visual performances and offerings. I’m so excited to discover the perfect art piece to add to my home collection and I’m eager to discover local art and culture in the vibrant city of Makhanda, highlighting another gem of the authentic South Africa experience.
Cape Town
We’ll conclude our trip in Cape Town with stunning city tours, a cable car ride up Table Mountain, and visits to Cape Point and Boulders Beach. The itinerary also features a day in the Cape Winelands for wine tasting and a cultural tour of Langa Township.
