Although we can only speculate about what the next generation of Apple Tv’s will operate and look like, we have gathered a list of impressive “rumors” about the possible features.
Wireless streaming and voice recognition software, similar to Siri, will alter the way we use our televisions. My imagination is already running wild. Can’t find the remote, no worries …just say “iTV ON!” And voila! The collaboration between other Apple devices will allow for cross streaming and remote control-like features. If these rumors are true, Apple could be eliminating remote controls altogether in the near future for all electronic manufacturers. There are also rumors that include apps for unique content development, iCloud action, and iTunes incorporation. All that is known of physical specs is that the first two sizes available will be 32- and 37-inches.
One thing I predict, you will need to buy the upgraded MacBook, iPad, and iPhone in order for them to be compatible with your iTV. This I don’t doubt. It will definitely be a method to continue their “ecosystem” and lock you in. The “bite out of the apple” logo may have more meaning than we think. Just one bite. Is one bite ever enough?
The latest is that there is no completion date, and Apple has yet to officially acknowledge that the device even exists. Yet the works are still under development while rumors race ahead of progress. I am, however, looking forward to the potential Apple TV versus Google TV fight and the rumors to accompany it in the near future!
