1. Oprah swarms in the Beyhive.
The first thing that was crystal clear during Oprah’s interview with Beyoncé is that Oprah is a stan! She gushed and fawned over Beyoncé throughout the entire interview! Some viewers found it endearing and others, according to Twitter, wanted Oprah to get real and ask Beyoncé some tough questions about her life and her family like she did with Lance Armstrong.
2. We LOVE hearing Beyoncé refer to Jay-Z as her “husband.”
Many of us have watched both Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s career grow over the years and we’ve seen their love for one another flourish since the days of ‘03 Bonnie & Clyde, Upgrade U, Déjà Vu, and Crazy In Love. Each are powerhouses unto themselves but seeing the two together is a celebration of how beautiful and powerful Black love can be. It’s like seeing your favorite home girl and ya boy from around the corner fall in love. It gives us all inspiration

3. Having true women friends is vital to every woman’s success.
Beyoncé talked about eagerly waiting for Kelly and Michelle to pop out of the lifts and join her onstage at the Super Bowl. The Destiny’s Child reunion performance was just as exciting for her as it was for fans watching around the world. Doing what you love with your amazing women friends next to you is where success happens!
4. Beyoncé has a healthy appetite and a diverse palette.
Digging into her Creole roots, she talked about eating fried alligator and trying turtle (for the first time!) while in New Orleans for the Super Bowl. Not ones to typically drink alcohol, both she and her mother made an exception to have a drink in celebration of all their hard work for that performance.
5. Jay-Z and Beyoncé built a solid foundation for their relationship.
Beyoncé shared that she and Jay-Z talked for over a year on the phone and dated for over a year—to truly learn each other—before entering a relationship. Just as the First Lady previously stated on Oprah, Beyoncé reiterates that you must genuinely like the person you marry. The mutual respect and admiration they have for each other is palpable.
6. Beyoncé LOVES herself some Jay-Z.

Not only has she stated this publicly at various events but also watching her face light up as she talks about her husband and hearing her praise him for his support of her will warm anyone’s heart. Of her husband she says, “I would not be the woman I am, if I did not go home to that man. And it just gives me such a foundation.” Following the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Jay-Z and Beyoncé may begin to focus on having another baby (maybe)!

7. Blue Ivy is fire!
As if we didn’t already know that any child of Beyoncé and Jay-Z would be fierce, Beyoncé confirms that Blue Ivy is a little firecracker! Beyoncé talked about looking back over her diary after having Blue Ivy, and how all of her life experiences finally made sense. Beyoncé says she had an incredible birth, that she focused all of her energy on Blue Ivy as she entered this world and that having a connection with her, just as she has with her mother, is extremely important to her.
It’s wonderful and refreshing to hear a young, professional woman talk about embracing her role as a wife and mother while still having a love for her career as an entertainer. Beyoncé’s dreams continue to come true as she finds balance amongst each of these roles. Now, Beyoncé wants to hear about your dreams.
