MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
Opulence, urban style and excellent service is what grounds the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Detroit. As one of the most elite luxury hotels in Detroit, the MGM Grand Hotel boasts more than 4,000 of the latest slot and video poker machines and close to 100 gaming tables. It has unrivaled luxury rooms and suites, celebrity chef restaurants, 30,000 square feet of meeting and convention space and the only resort-style spa in southeast Michigan.
Even before entering the 710-sq ft. Executive King room, I was greeted by complementary valet service and a pleasant concierge team that made my initial hotel check-in experience a delight. The customer service and particular care to detail is what really makes the MGM Grand Hotel experience luxurious from beginning to end. My Executive King room really reminded me more of a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Upon opening the door, you’re greeted by an art deco foyer, which leads into the private sitting area with 42-inch plasma television, executive desk with gorgeous views of downtown Detroit and the Ambassador Bridge leading into Canada. Further inside the room, you discover a separate bedroom with an additional 42-inch plasma television, wet bar and gorgeous marble-accented bathroom with television monitor, frosted glass and luxurious deep-soaking garden tub. It’s definitely one of those rooms where once you check in, you never want to check out.
Fun and Games
If you’re looking for stylish fun and games, look no further than the MGM Grand Detroit. Serving luxe décor and plush accommodations throughout the entire gaming areas and five unique lounges and bars (including the ever popular V Lounge) – it’s no wonder why MGM Grand Detroit is the place to see and be seen.
The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino also offers luxury services at the only resort-style spa in southeast Michigan – IMMERSE spa and amazing eats at Wolfgang Puck Steak, TAP, or Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria & Cucina. With all the grand luxury of a Las Vegas destination closer than you could imagine in downtown Detroit, why would you want to go anywhere else?
