Bringing New York Fashion Week to a close, New York’s fashion elite emerged from a week of shows & presentations to come together in celebration of Bergdorf-Goodman’s 111th Birthday and film screening at Paris Theatre. ‘Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s’ presented by Cadillac is a 90-minute documentary that paints a portrait of Bergdorf’s past, present and future.
If you’re anything like me, the moment you step into 5th Ave and into Bergdorf-Goodman’s you feel overwhelmed from the sheer force of luxe fashion royalty gracing each floor (then you take a look a a price tag or two and reality quickly sets in…) However, there is no doubt that no other retailer can match the luxury that Bergdorf’s provides thousands of New Yorkers, tourists & foreign clients daily.
Including a collection of 175 of its directors, clients, employees, designers and wannabe designers share their experiences and fondest memories of New York’s finest retailer of glamour, sophistication and fashion. Directed by Mathew Mielle, the film also included guest appearance by iconic designers Michael Kors, Dianne Von Furstenberg, Vera Wang and more.
Following the screening, guests including June Ambrose, Bevy Smith and more were treated to an exclusive post shindig next door at Bergdorf-Goodman’s.
