Is the Apple iWatch “Stylish”? Wearable?
“Strides in design, battery technology, computing and connectivity are ushering in a new era of wearable computing. No longer bulky, and making one look like they have to wear a utility belt, a design such as Apple’s potential iWatch, the rumored Samsung smart watch or even Google’s (GOOG) Glass project are far more palatable.” (www.forbes.com)
Apple will be in competition with current wearable computing technology like Nike’s FuelBand, FitBit’s FlexBand, and Under Armour’s E39 Performance Monitoring System. However, Apple has a few advantages over these products – their technology, integrated watch to smart phone to include phone service, email, and of course apps galore – including the apps for FuelBand and FitBit. You can share the same information from these devices with your smart phone and now with iWatch.
