In celebration of summer, celebrated designer Monif C debuted her latest swim collection in New York City. The “My Beach is Better” event hosted a variety of fashion editors, models, bloggers and fans to celebrate the arrival of the stylish swim collection for curvy women. Launching her 2014 Swim Collection, luxurious and ultra-feminine plus size fashion designer Monif C., transformed a Manhattan loft space into a Miami beach-themed party. As guests entered the venue, they were greeted by ten curvaceous models in flirty and chic swimsuits on lighted platforms. With the room flanked by real palm trees and purple, blue and pink lighting, one felt like they just walked into a Miami beach party.

After making her grand entrance Monif Clarke delivered a heart warming speech acknowledging and celebrating her 9th year as a successful fashion designer. After the speech, guests continued dancing to a mixture of reggae and hip hop music by DJ Amanda Blaze.
Live models displayed the latest collection on low-lit pedestals and on an indoor-sanded beach. Some of the most recognized names in the plus-size fashion industry were in attendance as guests danced to a live DJ, sipped beach themed cocktails by Bacardi and enjoyed an unforgettable night in NYC.
