Hi Christen. Great to meet you at TBEX and I'm looking forward to following you along in your journey.
My accomplishment I want to share with the world is my decision to forgo getting an MBA and Colombia Business School to finally start living life on my own terms. I started traveling again and sharing my stories on my then newly created blog, AbsoluteTravelAddict.com. This led to me negotiating changes in my work responsibilities to allow more flexibility and freedom to live my passion. In the time that has elapsed, I've received tons of emails from people I've motivated to make changes in their life, had my first travel article published in a print magazine, been instrumental in the PassportPartyProject.org which gifts passports to under-served teen girls in the US, was the only brown blogger to serve as a panelist at the 2011 Conference on Social Media and Tourism, live PT in Jamaica, visited 10 new countries, met some amazing people around the world and been working on my first travel ebook on How to Travel the World Without Quitting Your Job.
The crux of this all was when I was able to stop limiting myself and blaming my job, boss, condo not selling, etc and just started setting my intentions and making it happen because as Paul Coelho states over and over, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it!
