As a self proclaimed “hair connoisseur” I have been known to seek out only the finest grade of locks to adorn and accessorize my crown. I have seen it all, bought it all and done it all, just short of personally visiting a sacred hair temple in India. So I was more than excited to be introduced to New York’s newest mobile salon and it’s signature line of virgin, unprocessed extensions.
Angela’s Hair Studio NYC is leading the trend of in home styling services. As a mobile salon serving the greater New York metro area, professionally trained stylists will meet you in your home and give you the personalized service that we all want and deserve. During my birthday appointment, the stylist arrived early and completely prepared with all the products, tools and accessories needed for my appointment. Within minutes of arrival, the stylist proceeded to wash, condition and prepare my hair for installation of Angela’s Hair extensions. It’s very easy to identify an unseasoned stylist, however the stylist from Angela’s Hair Studio was knowledgeable, friendly and very thorough throughout the shampoo & conditioning stage of the appointment. Immediately following cleaning and blow-drying my natural hair, the stylist began the installation process by braiding my natural hair and adhering a net for additional support.
Using five 4-oz bundles of pure virgin (unprocessed) hair, custom colored with various blonde highlights the stylist completed the installation, cut and styled the hair to complete my birthday look.
Angela’s Hair Studio brand hair is 100% Human Virgin Indian & Brazillian Hair, also known as Cuticle Hair. It is unprocessed and only comes in donor natural colors of black and brown. The hair remains in the same direction from root to tip. It comes in Straight, Body Wave, Loose Curl and Deep Wave. This Diamond Grade A hair can be dyed, bleached, colored, flat-ironed or straightened with a hot comb. It is tangle free, has minimal shedding and if cared for properly can last up to a year or longer.
