Last weekend was such a whirlwind of excitement!  I was treated to A-list celebrity treatment by the Cadillac team which included a luxury hotel suite at the London West hotel, travel accommodations in the new Cadillac SRX and culinary experiences including breakfast at Chef Gordon Ramsey’s, brunch at The Ivy and dinner at Villa Blanca.

On Saturday, I attended the Cadillac Conversations media brunch held at the esteemed Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant in West Hollywood.  Hosted by Don Butler – Vice President for Strategic Development & Vivian Pickard – President of the General Motors Foundation, brunch attendees enjoyed candid conversations about the philanthropy, progress and future of the Cadillac brand.

Continuing in the day, I got the chance to re-visit my radio roots during the BET Experience Radio Row Broadcast.  Chances are, if your favorite DJ has broadcasted LIVE from the BET Awards, they’ve done so from the BET Experience Radio Row.  The BET Experience Radio Row is a large backstage area where DJs and radio stations from around the world set up to broadcast their local shows with celebrity interviews participating during the BET Awards.  It was quite a surprise to run into fellow colleagues from Detroit, Charlotte and Chicago radio stations – it was like a surreal “This Was Your Life” (Radio Edition) moment hanging out with your old broadcast buddies.

Later that evening during PRE BET Awards Dinner hosted by BET Networks CEO Debra Lee and Rapper/Real Househusbands of Hollywood co-star Nelly.  Sponsored by Cadillac, I got the chance to walk the red carpet and speak with some of the celebrities about life, upcoming projects and their love affair with the Cadillac brand.  Check out more from the red carpet below.

 

 

The whirlwind weekend came to a close on Sunday with the BET Awards Show broadcast – hosted by Chris Tucker and was undoubtedly my favorite BET Experience to date.  Check out some of my favorite moments from the 2013 BET Awards, including the Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Charlie Wilson (and performances) HERE.
