This is Detroit. Not bad huh? No, the city isn’t burning down in despair – as a matter of fact, it is alive, well and bursting at the seams with rich art and re-defining style everyday. While in Detroit, I decided to visit one of my favorite open art installations in the city – The Heidelburg Project. Known for its colorful backdrops of bright hues, political messaging and plenty of mixed media – this area has been around and re-defining how we look at art since 1986. Armed with a camera (a little extra time on my hands) and a crisp, sunny Spring day – take a look at my interpretation of the bright side of art and style below (…and let me know what you think!)
