Do you have an idea for the next generation of hot toys for kids? If you’ve had an idea or have wondered why your inventive idea has yet to be produced on store shelves then today is your day to get noticed!
Remember last week when I shared RadioShack and Quirky are giving inventors a chance to prove they know just what is needed to make a toy that no one can put down? The brands are looking for submissions for smart toys that are intelligent, intuitive and interactive, and ideal for kids of all ages. The top product will be produced by Quirky and sold exclusively in RadioShack stores. Last week, RadioShack and Quirky hosted a Sketch and Design night at the RadioShack custom concept store on 42nd street in NYC.
During the event, guests were invited out to the store to sit down with illustrators and create the visual concept for the next great American toy. With a single phone call and the help of my niece Shanna, I submitted an idea for the “Diva Doll”. The Diva Doll will record you or your child’s voice and will playback up to 10 personalized messages anytime.
