If there’s any hi-lo collection worth saving coins for, it’s undoubtedly the Balmain H&M collaboration arriving this Fall!
Who’s ready for a swoon-worthy fashion collection unlike anything we’ve seen before? News first broke of the collaboration back in May when Kendall Jenner and Jordan Dunn both rocked pieces from the upcoming collection on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards. (Since we’re kinda over the Kardashian hype, we failed to acknowledge the hype…. until today!) We haven’t heard much about the line (set to launch November 5), since then but it looks like today is our lucky day. This morning, Elle released a new photo from the collection and it was worth the wait.
We’re huge fans of the hi/lo designer partnership trends… I mean hello? Our closets are still filled with pieces from Versace/H&M, Jason Wu/Target collections and more. Unlike some designer collaborations we’ve seen in the past, none of the brand’s super glamorous aesthetic seems to be lost this diffusion line. The long-sleeved, embellished dress looks just like what you might find on the runway at a Balmain fashion show. We’re betting the pieces from this Balmain H&M collection aren’t going to quite as budget-friendly as the rest of H&M’s merchandise, but if everything looks as good as this we’re definitely up for a splurge.
H&M does a great job with their collaboration collections and by the looks of things, we’re in for a great collection reveal soon!
