This past weekend for the FIRST time, Ford presented Stan Richards, the winner of the Community Leader of the Year Award with a $30,000 check during the 2013 Ford Neighborhood Awards in Las Vegas. The funds will be donated to his non-profit organization of choice as part of Ford’s brand promise to GO FURTHER.
The 2013 Ford Neighborhood Awards took place on Saturday, August 10, 2013, in Las Vegas. Richards, the Community Leader of the Year Award recipient received a $30,000 check to be donated to his non-profit organization of choice. Ford continued its commitment to the community by doing something different this year — awarding $30,000 that will benefit a non-profit versus a vehicle giveaway, as has been done in years past. 2013 marked the seventh consecutive year that Ford has been involved in the program as the automotive-exclusive partner of this annual event.
