During a recent spring break inspired experience to the Caribbean & Miami, I had the opportunity to check out the 2014 Acadia Denali by GMC. This illusional SUV packs a punch of space and style from the inside out! Starting from the bottom, the exclusive 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, three-dimensional polished grille & fender flares immediately indicates you that this isn’t a soccer mom SUV. Or is it?
Armed with a power sunroof, second row skylight and ample leather & wood accents throughout, the Acadia Denali whisks you inside the lap of luxury the moment you take a seat. Perforated leather seating with Denali-specific Cocoa Dune color comes standard with heated and cooling front driver and passenger seats. The second-row Smart Slide feature makes reaching third row access a breeze. The 7-passenger Acadia Denali doesn’t discriminate against the backseat passengers either. Second and third row passengers enjoy a life of connectivity with dual USB ports, rear seat audio controls, headphone jacks and an optional rear entertainment package.
The color touch radio with Intellilink system with SiriusXm satellite and HD stations sound pretty darn good when you’re rocking to your favorite tunes through a Bose premium audio system. This girl loves cranking the system up! (Ain’t nothing wrong with a little body-rolling in the drivers seat! LOL!)
The Acadia Denali took some getting used to at first, because the illusion from the outside reminds me more of a crossover, but once you get behind the driver’s wheel I realized that it really is a large SUV to be reckoned with. (But the rear vision camera system and side blind zone alert came in handy and made driving the SUV easy as pie!). All in all it was a great spring break drive experience for college girlfriends, guys or a wholesome spring break family vacation. It’ll give you 19MPG which means you’ll be roughly burning 5+ gallons per 100miles – but hey, that’s what Spring break travel is all about right? (Mandatory gas station pit stops required! LOL)
