As a businesswoman on the go, there’s nothing I hate more than being restricted to conduct business indoors while stuck in front of a computer. Successful professionals have one thing in common – the ability to conduct business as usual regardless of current location. From the same company that brought you the PDF Expert app for the iPad (Read my review HERE.) now brings you Remarks, the iPad app that lets you write notes, draw and annotate on PDFs, books and more.
Remarks is more than just an editing app! Sure you can draw, type notes within PDF documents, edit presentations & contracts on the go. Recently, I’ve used the app for editing and filing contracts all in one location on my iPad making it easy to access, forward and email them while on the go.
But unlike PDF Expert, Remarks allows you to co-edit notes with other Remarks users (just like sharing Google docs except it’s on the go!) This is a great app function for bloggers co-editing documents, sales professionals and entrepreneurs alike who work on a team and edit materials together.
I’ve used the Remarks app for editing & formatting articles during downtime and it’s a great alternative for writing notes and keeping them organized together. As a bonus, the Remarks app adjusts to your writing style (lefty’s rejoice!) and adjusts to your wrist better blocking the bottom toolbar and making edits a lot easier to manage.
The highlighting feature is perfect for noting important elements within contracts while eliminating the unnecessary jargon and text.
And just in case you’re stuck in a meeting and want to work on your Draw Something skills Remarks has a feature that’ll allow you to do just that. Remarks functions as a sketch pad, allowing you to draw shapes, diagrams, markups and more using a stylus or the natural skills of your fingertips.
Available in the iTunes store for $4.99 the Remarks app by Readdle is definitely a cool app to add to your productivity repertoire.
