The Panasonic heated eyelash curler uses gentle heat and rotating action to curl lashes. It is safe and comfortable – no pinching or squeezing. The heat indicator changes color when the eyelash curler is ready to use and the gentle heat provides a longer-lasting curl. The eyelash curler has a 360-degree reversible, rotating comb which works to lengthen and lift lashes for either a natural or well-defined curl.
Heat Indicator: Changes color from purple to pink when the eyelash curler reaches the optimal temperature and is ready to use.
Sleek Wand Design: The heated eyelash curler has a unique, slim design with a matching cap for easy portability. It’s perfect for travel use or for a quick touch-up anytime, anywhere. The design easily blends in with other products in a makeup bag.
Battery Operated: The heated eyelash curler operates on one “AA” battery.
Washable Comb: The comb is washable and easily rinses clean under running water, to remove any remaining mascara left on the comb
Reversible 350-degree comb: The eyelash curler has a 360-degree reversible, rotating comb which works to lengthen and lift lashes for either a natural or well-defined curl.
The detachable comb is washable and easily rinses clean under running water, to remove any remaining mascara left on the comb. The eyelash curler’s compact design and cap make it perfect for travel use or a quick touch-up anytime, anywhere.
My experience: The heated comb took less than a minute to heat up, there is a heating sensor that changes color from purple to pink once it’s ready to use. The directions suggested that once the comb is warm enough to use, that you turn the switch on with the comb rotation clockwise against the base of the lash line. The heat and comb rotation helps form and lift the lashes (it doesn’t do much to separate the lashes if you have wild, unruly lashes, but it does help pull the lashes out and up.) Use the heated eyelash curler in whichever way works best for you, either before or after applying mascara. I used the comb before applying mascara and after applying mascara, I was very pleased with the results.
The Panasonic heated eyelash curler isn’t for everyone. It does get rather warm and if you don’t have steady hands, you may get a little too close to your eyelid and suffer an untimely “ouchy”. The curler can be used on your top and lower lashes, but you have to have patience when using the heated eyelash curler. This isn’t like your “pinch & go” eyelash curler so be prepared to stroke your lashes accordingly, but with a little patience the curl will last longer and you’ll wake up with perfectly coiffed lashes for days.
