This week in Washington DC members of the automotive press and influencers we introduced to the all new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT, Hellcat and Pursuit vehicles. During the two-day experience, guests were able to get up close and personal with the vast lineup of vehicles during Dodge brand 100th anniversary. The iconic Charger received a full-body makeover for 2015 including a super-sized horsepowered engine ranging from 370 to a whopping 707 horses in the Hellcat model.
Although the need for speed was on the minds of most in attendance with the Hellcat vehicles, I had my mind set on the one in a lifetime opportunity – driving a police vehicle, the Dodge Charger Pursuit. Check out my wild experience on the road below.
“Dodge has a strong police car heritage, and we are proud to offer a vehicle armed with modern muscle and cutting-edge technology to help law enforcement agencies perform their duties,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO — Dodge Brand, SRT Brand and Fleet Operations, Chrysler Group LLC. “The new Pursuit police car is based on our new 2015 Dodge Charger. It delivers up to 370 best-in-class horsepower, is available in both rear- and all-wheel drive, has a new driver-focused cockpit and adds new safety and security features, as well as new state-of-the art technologies, all designed to deliver the ultimate performance expected from Dodge.”
