For the second year in a row, DivasandDorks.com has been invited by Ford to participate in the annual Ford Trend Conference. Over 200 local and international media guests traveled to Detroit, MI to experience the internal and external highlights of Ford’s journey. During this year, I was fortunate enough to speak with some of the leading minds behind Ford’s technology, eco-psychology, urbanization and accessible design. Throughout this 2-day conference, I experienced detailed information regarding Ford’s efforts in areas of automotive sustainability, virility & beyond. During day one, we were filled to the brim with knowledge in 90-minute sessions featuring Adrian Grenier (from HBO’s Entourage), Christian Siriano (from Bravo’s Project Runway) and more!
In addition to learning in a classroom setting, Ford took the fun outside with amazing experiences including dinner & frolicking at Ford Field (home of the Detroit Lions), D-I-Y FUN at Techshop Detroit and road racing at the Ford Test Track.
All in all, it was an amazing experience that enlightened me on all the behind efforts that goes into developing the next generation of Ford vehicles for years to come!
