I love saving money and I love saving it with as little planning as possible. So when Walgreen’s asked me to share my experience saving money on the spot with the Walgreen’s App and paperless coupons, I was ecstatic to share – because I know you’ll be excited once you see how you can save money instantly too!
Remember the extreme couponing craze from years ago? I’ve never been a big coupon clipper but I am jealous when I see pantries filled with groceries and cleaners on a five dollar budget! Now, the art of couponing has been revolutionized on a smartphone app, so that people like you and I can save money too! Since I don’t do much pre-planning when it comes to last-minute shopping at Walgreen’s – I like to scroll through the app while shopping in the aisles in order to catch a money saving coupon for items I’m currently shopping for in-store.
What is the Walgreen’s App and paperless coupons all about? The Walgreens paperless coupons are basically manufacturer eCoupons that can be ‘clipped’ to your own Balance Rewards account and redeemed when you purchase to product. That means, no more reading through Sunday’s paper for coupons or sifting through the in-store circular to find the best deals. Simply download the Walgreen’s app, add your Balance Rewards number and discover your eCoupons right there on your smartphone. To redeem simply scan your Balance Rewards Card (via the App on your phone, the actual card or by punching in your phone number) at checkout and it automatically is applied. Say goodbye to Sunday paper scissor sessions cutting up coupons or remembering to bring them to the store.
Be sure to sync your Balance Rewards membership to the Mobile App to get started. Each paperless coupon can only be used once. Once it is redeemed it will be deleted from your coupon list. Just by using my Walgreen’s App and paperless coupons I saved close to $20 during my most recent visit shopping for items like Body wash, shampoo, mouth wash, vitamins, and laundry detergent! As if you needed another reason to love saving money at Walgreen’s, when you use your Balance Rewards card you can earn cash towards your purchases too! That’s even more money saved! That’s money that can be used to invest towards my next vacation, to buy anew pair of stylish shoes or more! I can’t wait to see how much I save on my next visit.
