It’s official! If you live in the midwest, meteorologists have proclaimed that we’ve experienced the most perfect winter ever! Snow arrived late. We had a white Christmas. Two great weeks of super snowy goodness and now Spring is right around the corner. Luckily, I got to spend the peak winter experience inside the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave.
The Jeep brand is traditionally known for strength, agility and outdoor utility so it’s no surprise that the Gladiator Mojave offers all of the above, plus more. As the first-ever desert rated Jeep vehicle, the Mojave has been tested to handle intense heat, invasive sand and harsh, unpredictable driving conditions. That means it should handle Michigan winter weather just fine, right?
First off, the Mojave is ready to roll over any snowy roads thanks to the rugged step sand sliders that help protect the frame and 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires. It doesn’t matter if you’re running through sand dunes or snow storms, in the Mojave you’re rolling confidently no matter what.
The Jeep Gladiator Mojave offers a unique style statement of its own. While the exterior stuns in a bright, “Firecracker Red” the interior is a bit toned down. The interior is inspired by desert oasis shades with premium refinements and soft touch surfaces in steel gray leather-trimmed bucket seating. A competition-inspired steering wheel and orange accent stitching throughout creates a pop of color and eye-catching detail.
The technology is what you would expect from Jeep. Mobile connectivity and buttons that’ll instantly ‘power up’ your drive. Equipped with an 8.4 inch navigation screen with Connect 4C NAV and Alpine Premium Audio, the Mojave has you covered. Hit the Off-Road+ button when in 4HI and the Gladiator Mojave is ready for high-speed 4×4 driving. The Off-Road+ system automatically adjusts throttle, transmission, shift points and traction control for peak performance on hight speed passes.
Apple Car Play and Android Auto capabilities is where the tech fun begins and it doesn’t end there. With the Jeep Gladiator, you’re in control no matter what. Available Sirius XM Guardian connects drivers in so many ways. Unlock doors, remote start and locate your Gladiator at the touch of a button. Plus with Wi-Fi on the go, you can connect up to eight devices to the 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot, set your destination and let Gladiator do the rest.
It’s a Jeep, so of course you have the freedom to pop the top when you want. The top makes it super easy to remove for some extra sunshine and a true open-air experience. Unfortunately, it was too cold in Michigan to try doing all that. LOL.
The Jeep Gladiator is equipped to preserve your peace of mind with safety features including blind spot monitoring and Parksense park assist keeping you alert when your bumper gets too close for comfort while parking.
While the Jeep Gladiator is an all-season pickup truck that’s equally amazing in the Summer or Winter, the Mojave brings the heat to this year’s line up of 2021 Jeep vehicles. For more information and to set up a test drive of your own visit Jeep.com/Gladiator today.
