The revival of the roadster continues with the Fiat brand introducing the chic and stylish 124 Spider. Of course if you’re going to drive a roadster in California, you’re opting for one in Rosso Passione powered by turbocharged MultiAir 1.4-liter engine for up to 164 horsepower. The 2017 Fiat is more than just a sleek and sexy roadster, it comes with all the technological advancements including an array of safety and security features for added comfort and convenience.
One of my biggest concerns when driving a drop top is configuring and maneuvering the convertible top during a rainstorm. Some convertibles require both hands and even assistance in replacing the top when necessary. Not the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. For an open-air driving experience, the Fiat 124 Spider’s soft convertible top is easy to operate and requires minimal force, much like the original Spider’s top.

Although the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider doesn’t come equipped with the well loved Beats Audio system, it does come well stocked with Bose premium sound with nine speakers, including dual headrest speakers, is also available for superior sound quality even with the top down. What does that mean for you? You can tune into your favorite California themed jams like “California Love” by Tupac/Dr. Dre and “Hotel California” by The Eagles without blasting the sound system and losing audio quality while on the road.

The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider is available in three trim levels: Classica, Lusso and Abarth. Seven exterior paint colors are available: Rosso Passione (Red Clear Coat), Bianco Gelato (White Clear Coat), Nero Cinema (Jet Black Metallic), Grigio Argento (Gray Metallic), Grigio Moda (Dark Gray Metallic), Bronzo Magnetico (Bronze Metallic) and tri-coat Bianco Perla (Crystal White Pearl).
The all-new Fiat 124 Spider arrives in FIAT studios in North America in summer 2016.
