Introducing the Nest Protect: a carbon monoxide and smoke detector that senses rising levels to inform you before it becomes too late. The Nest Protect does more than just a bunch of beeping, it’s doing a hell of a lot more.
The Nest Protect works with the Nest app to alert you of exactly where in your home the problem is. But more than just alert you, it tells you in a human female voice (a la Google Now or Siri). It starts off with a Heads-Up warning that alerts in advance of rising levels of smoke or CO. You can silence the warning with a wave of your hand. The Protect doubles as an LED light to path light at night or in case of an actual emergency.
